Alvernia University (Poole Anderson Construction)
We were back in Reading for the 2nd phase of the renovations at Alvernia University. During this phase we cut out a 1400 sq ft section of old EPDM to replace the damaged ISO with new fully adhered ISO to the existing concrete deck. We then installed a 50mil Durolast PVC roofing membrane in that section. All ties were completed per Durolast spec to achieve a 20 year NDL. Stay tuned for other repairs we are working on at the University in the coming months.
Firestone Complete Auto Care (Berks Construction)
For this project we are installing a 7000 sqft mechanically fastened Firestone 060 TPO system with a R-30 R vaule. This unique project called for different color coping on certain sections of the parapet walls to align with the theming of the Firestone brand.
Burnridge Shopping Center – Beer Baron (Client Project)
We installed 2 types of roofing membranes on this project, per our suggestion. First was a 15,000sqft fully adhered R-30 system with GAF 060 TPO complete with new drains and a coping system. The second section was for the restaurant roof with a 3,000sqft mechanically attached R-30 system GAF PVC. Both sections come with a 20 year NDL from GAF. The reason for the suggestion is that PVC is rated for grease so that application is typical for restaurants
Reilly Glass & Glazing (Client Project)
For this project we will be removing a 12,000sqft roofing system that has come to the end of its life. The client reported multiple leaks and issues and replacement is the best option. We will be fully adhering a Firestone/Elevate 060 TPO roofing system complete with all new flashing for the exhaust fans and RTU’s. All work will be compliant with manufacture spec so that the client can enjoy a 20 year NDL warranty upon completion.
Caliber Collision (Berks Construction)
We are once again partnering with Berks Construction on ths Caliber Collision Center in beautiful Niagara Falls NY. Upon inspection we found numerous fasteners, old repairs and most of the perimeter were failing. We teamed up with Andek to repair the fasteners, old repairs and coated the roof with a polyurethane coating. This carries a 15 year warranty. This project took 1 week to complete.
Alvernia University (Poole Anderson Construction)
We have teamed up with Poole Anderson on this repair project in Reading PA. The goal here was to relocate some exhaust fans and add flashings to new exhaust fans that were being added as the construction of the building below moves closer to completion. We also installed a new roof curb on one of the RTU’s on the roof that was failing.
All Kids Dental (Berks Construction)
For this project we installed 6,500 square feet of Rhinobond TPO firestone system complete with a 20-year NDL. We also installed a cleated metal coping system around the perimeter. This took 6 days to complete.
Foulk Living (LCS Development)
For this project we removed and installed 45,700 square feet of Owens Corning shingles. The project covers the main building as well as the 5 smaller structures. We were on site for 2 weeks paying extra special attention to the current residents and making sure we got the job done with minimal disruption to their lifestyles.
Shipley Manor (LCS Development)
This project took 10 weeks to complete. In that time, we removed 100,000 sq ft with a combination of EPDM and TPO roofing systems that were expired. We then installed an R-30 insulation package complete with dens deck and a 20-year NDL Duro-Last roofing system. The system installed was a Rhino-bond system to help reduce the costs of the fully adhered. We removed the shingles around the pent of the roof and replaced it with a 30-year Tamko system.
Jollibee (Berks Construction)
We were excited to put the roof on the very first Jolibee in Pennsylvania! Here we installed an R-30 Firestone .060 TPO 20-year NDL roofing system. This system was mechanically attached and was competed in 4 days.
Extra Space Storage
We installed a flute-filled roofing system over an existing 10,000 sq ft metal roof. In this application we filled the cavities of the metal roof with a ½ inch HD board to provide a flat surface. Then we installed a fully adhered Firestone .060 TPO 20-year NDL roofing system. This project was completed in 2 days.
Mavis Tires (Berks Construction)
For this project we installed 5,500 square feet of Rhinobond .060 Firestone TPO roofing system complete with a 20-year NDL. We also installed a commercial grade slag stop around the perimeter along with a Firestone gutter. We completed this project in 4 days.
Sesame Place (Parkway Construction)
For this project we also installed cleated metal around the perimeter as well as Pac-CLAD soffit panels up under the canopy. We also did a window frame with 032 aluminum break metal painted to match the color of the Sesame Place Retail building theme. Due to the involved theming process for the exterior walls, the project took over 4 months to complete. We installed the roof in 5 days but had to come back to install the metal work closer to the project completion date.
Aspen Dental (Berks Construction)
For this project there is a complete demolition of the roof and most of the walls. We removed the old roofing system as well as a large canopy on the front of the building and removed the old chimneys. We then came back a few weeks later after the framing was complete and installed a new TPO system complete with a new parapet on the front where the canopy once stood. We installed a full prefinished coping system, with a sleek electric blue color, along the entire parapet.
